History
Since 1978, American Chimney Shroud’s parent company B.I.G. Company, Inc. has been designing, manufacturing and installing decorative chimney shrouds for the Southern California home building market.

In 1993, the company had expanded dramatically and it became necessary to discontinue out-sourcing some components & bring all manufacturing in house. These expansions brought about improvements in quality, delivery times and passed on an added savings to the customer.

Over the past decade, ACS’s parent company continued growth in the Southern California market lead to expansion into the outlying areas of the Western United States. Currently, ACS has shipped their Chimney Shrouds to Hawaii , Alaska , Japan and throughout the Continental United States.

In February 2004, it became apparent to management, it was time to birth American Chimney Shroud, Inc. With strong relationships developing with International Fireplace and Venting Manufactures, along with the proper listing agencies, the product has been recognized as the first U.L. Listed Chimney Shroud Manufacture.
