Outside Mount
Outside Mount / Flush Mount Chimney Shrouds or Caps are ideal for chimneys with an irregular top surface and would best be suited to fit over the outside of the chimney like a shoe box lid. To do this we add a “skirt”. Our standard skirt is 3” in length, but can be customized upon request. The shroud/cap can then be fastened to your chimney on top of the skirt, or horizontally into the side of the skirt. Note: All penetrations should be sealed with caulking to prevent any water intrusion into your chimney.
Top Mount
Top Mount / Inside Mount Chimney Shrouds or Caps are ideal for chimneys with a very flat and even top surface. Top Mount items come with a 1” flange at each point where the item will come in contact with your chimney. This flange is where you will fasten/screw the cap/shroud to your chimney top. Note: All penetrations should be sealed with caulking to prevent any water intrusion into your chimney.
